Detoxification, also know as “cleanses” or “detoxes” includes a variety of diets, regimens, and therapies that have been suggested as ways to expel toxins from your body, lose weight or promote your overall well-being.

This process can be achieved in many ways including:

  • Fasting
  • Using herbs
  • Drinking specific juices or beverages
  • Eating specific foods
  • Using dietary supplements
